Google acquires API.AI, act as an aid for developers to create conversational interfaces much easier

Google has acquired conversational interface provider API.AI. The price and the terms of the acquisition is not disclosed yet, but API.AI had raised around $8.6 million to date according to Crunchbase.

Currently, many popular messaging and virtual assistant applications like Facebook messenger, Skype, slack, etc.. Is using API.AI. API.AI supports with 15 dialects, include English, German, Spanish, French, and Chinese.

Here after creating an artificial intelligence application only takes a few minutes and no necessity of a big coding part and databases. Hope google will accelerate the improvements in API.AI, and implement new features on it. Also will have a great improvement in Android application development.
